Discovery To Cure Program
Program Summary
This research intensive program is designed to provide high school and undergraduate students with a research experience in laboratories of the C.S. Mott Center for Human Growth and Development, Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology Wayne State University School of Medicine. During the summer you will participate in the latest research, receiving training in the following areas reproductive biology, immunology, oncology, toxicology, prenatal and precision medicine. Students selected for the Program spend eight weeks working in a Wayne State laboratory under the mentorship of a PI, postdoctoral student or research assistant. Students will typically conduct research in the laboratory of one faculty member approximately 40 hours per week and will attend weekly research seminars.
